I think I've finally figured out how to do this ;) Cross your fingers!

Brothers and Sisters,

Last night after we got home, it was hard to stop thinking about you all, about the beautiful sounds, the smiles on your faces (yes, even those who are feeling overwhelmed), and the spirit you bring as you focus your energies on being the very best you can be. That's all the Lord ever asks of us, and you are doing so with great willingness and humility. I feel so blessed to be working with such good people.

Thank you for taking time this week to work on your parts and memorization. We have 2 more rehearsals before dress rehearsal in the Conference Center! It will come faster than you realize, so all your efforts to prepare will pay off.

I keep you in my prayers, as I know many of you do. The Lord will bless all "our efforts day by day."

Much love to you this week!

  1. Sister Fjeldsted,

Heartfelt thanks to you for giving of your time and talents to lead this choir! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for most of us. I know we are all grateful for this sweet opportunity. I, too, pray the Lord will bless us as a whole, to be able to memorize our parts. "Overwhelmed" is a good word to describe how I feel - also, incredibly blessed.

We appreciate you, and pray for you also.

    Love and hugs,

    One of your Altos

  2. Sister Fjeldsted,

Your energy, talent, and charisma are indeed a blessing for us. There is no question as to why you have been chosen to mold us into a functioning choir in such a short period of time. What you bring to the table is nothing short of amazing! We are indeed grateful for this opportunity to share our testimony through songs of praise. This will be an experience which I know will be treasured by all of us.
